We are now accepting applications for campers and volunteers for our upcoming Camp STAR weekend August 11 - 14, 2016.  Last year's camp was a huge success and we are looking forward to another wonderful camp weekend.  (You can find applications for both campers and volunteers under the resources tab of the website - make sure to get applications in early to ensure guarantee of space for interested campers)

In the meantime, please join us at the UP Children's Museum on February 19th at 6pm ~ we normally meet tucked just beyond the big tree on the second floor.  Please come and join us - the children who attend do not have to have been in attendance at Camp STAR - the monthly events are open for any and all children who are grieving the death of someone close to them.  Please call 906-251-1602 or e-mail czanettiupcbn@gmail.com to let Cara know if you plan to attend.

Please let Cara know if you are interested in attending the event - so she can make sure to have snacks and supplies available for all who attend (and to also let everyone know if we need to cancel due to poor weather - we do live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan after all!)

BIG thank you to River Valley Bank for their generous donation!

We didn't win their essay contest, but they still gave us a generous donation to help us continue to provide services to grieving children!

THANK YOU!!

Thank you to others we have recently received grants from to continue our worthwhile progamming for grieving children.

STAR Children's Bereavement Services has recently received grants of varrying amounts from Bell Auxillary, Marquette Breakfast Rotary and the Superior Health Foundation.  We feel very blessed to have such amazing support from our community, so that we can continue to offer all of the services we provide to grieving children free of charge!  We are always looking for new and innovative grant opportunities to apply for funding, so that we can continue to serve the vulnerable population of grieving children and families without having them think twice about being able to participate due to financial issues!

Thank you for visiting our website! We are happy you landed here. If you have questions or need help finding resources, please e-mail us at upcampstar@gmail.com, we will do our very best to help you.
